PCHS Campus Map
- On the PCHS campus map, yellow circled areas are for parking. Use Stadium Drive to access parking areas.
- We will be using ONLY the "Pillar Door Entrance" off of Stadium Drive (red circle) to enter PCHS. When entering, please use the stairs to the right hand side to go upstairs to admissions table and gym entrance.
- Exterior doors will open at 7:30AM each day
GYM/COURT MAP
- All games will be played in Dawson Hawkins Gymnasium. Court map is attached for reference. Please note there will be additional seating in the upstairs balcony.
- We will have a fully stocked concessions stand running both days. Thanks to our volunteers to help make this happen!
- THE LAB staff members will be wearing orange shirts. Please find a staff member if you have any questions throughout the tournament.

TOURNAMENT RULES
- Visiting team should provide someone to keep the official scorebook. THE LAB will provide personnel to run the scoreboard
- Four 10 minute quarters with running clock:
- Clock will stop the last 2 minutes of the game, unless a team is up by 20 or more
- Will be using new IESA/IHSA rules regarding foul limits and bonus free throws:
- Bonus will begin at the 5th team foul of each quarter
- Bonus is two free throws
- Team fouls reset each quarter
- Teams will have a 5 minute warm-up before each game (unless behind schedule)
- Halftime will be 5 minutes
- 1st Overtime will be 2 minutes w/ clock stoppages, 2nd overtime will be sudden death
- 3 full timeouts per team, per game
- 1 timeout is given to each team for every OT played - No carryovers
- IESA Rules will be in effect where other rules are not stated
- Game ball:
- 3rd and 4th Grade will use 28.5” basketball
- 5th and 6th Grade will use 29.5” basketball
Defensive Restrictions:
- 3rd Grade:
- No pressing at any time. Defense must “fall back” behind the halfcourt line.
- Half court zone trap defenses are not allowed. Defenders may help, but cannot double team a ball handler. Officials should use their discretion to determine a double team, which would whistle the play dead for ball to be inbounded at the nearest point by the offense.
- 4th Grade:
- No pressing, except the last 1 minute of each half.
- UNLESS any team up by 20 or more points, in which case pressing is not allowed by either team
- 5th Grade and 6th Grade:
- No restrictions on pressing
- UNLESS any team is up by 20 or more points, in which case pressing is not allowed by either team
